TWO INSTITUTIONS HONOUR THE PRESIDENT GENERAL OF COA-GPM

Two institutions on Friday, April 28th, 2023 honoured the President General of the Center of Awareness Global Peace Mission, Professor Samuel Ato Duncan for his humanitarianism which has impacted many lives.

The Executive Director of The West Africa International Magazine, Dr. Dee Otibu Asare, who was the first to confer an award on the President General observed that his organization has followed closely the exploits of Professor Duncan in the areas of Research, Global Peace and Philanthropy over the years.

He conferred on Professor Duncan the “Eminent Africans Global Integrity Award” for his selflessness and integrity. Professor Duncan was presented with a medallion, a certificate and a trophy.

The second award, “Missionary of Global Peace” was conferred on Professor Duncan by the International Institute for Governance and Development.

A citation presented to Professor Duncan reads “ The Missionary of Global Peace Award – MOGP, For your commitment to Peace, Harmony, and Prosperity among men and for your unrelenting dedication to promoting Global Peace, you are proudly honoured with a Missionary of Global Peace Award.

Presenting the award, the Vicar General of the World Council of Apostles and Bishops. Most Rev. Professor Godwin P. Davids noted that Professor Duncan has impacted the world with his Global Peace agenda and research into plant medicines which has brought relief to many individuals. He was optimistic that the recognition will encourage him to do more for humanity.

Responding, Professor Duncan recounted the journey which began some three decades ago. He said, in his quest to bring the message of Peace to the world, he identified diseases that have no known cure as one of the issues to address. He, therefore, set out on a research initiative that resulted in the discovery of COA Mixture.

He said COA Mixture has supported the health of many individuals to recover from various ailments although it is meant for general well-being. He announced that the company is undertaking research that will see the introduction of other organic medicines into the market to help support the health of people.

Present at the ceremony were the District Chief Executive for Abura Asebu Kwamankese, (AAK), Hon Willievans Obiri Awuah, The Chief of Batanyaa, Nana Fuah, Chief of Amoanda, Nana Egyirako, the AAK District Director of Education, Mrs. Dorcas Brenda Asare and the AAK District Police Commander, Mr. John Paul Akonde among others.

They took turns to express their gratitude to Professor Duncan and his team at COA for the continuous support of their various institutions over the years. They were all of the view that Professor Duncan deserves such recognition for the tremendous support he has extended to institutions, departments, and individuals in the district and beyond.
