At a time the sub-region has witnessed several conflicts, Ghana continues to enjoy peace. The Security Agencies have continuously demonstrated excellent professionalism and work effectively to maintain the peace under your leadership.

You have played significant roles as chair of ECOWAS in restoring calm to member states within the sub-region that have been embroiled in conflict. This is testament to your commitment to building peace.

The United Nations Development Programme, Ghana and The United Nations Office for West Africa and Sahel, have joined other well-meaning organizations and individuals to congratulate you for restoring Peace to Dagbon after decades of conflict.

You have demonstrated your readiness to hand over power at the end of your tenure per the constitutional requirement. This is worth acknowledging.
