Prof. Samuel Ato Duncan, CEO of COA Research and Manufacturing Limited, paid a courtesy visit to Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II at the Manhyia Palace on September 15, 2024, in a gesture of respect and gratitude.

The visit came exactly one week after Otumfuo Osei Tutu II toured the company’s factory in Wusorkrom, Abura Asebu Kwamankese District, Central Region, where he was impressed by the company’s innovative products, commitment to quality, and adherence to traditional practices.

During the Akwasidae Festival, Prof. Duncan presented a citation to His Majesty, expressing heartfelt appreciation for the King’s pivotal role in COA Research’s success and continued prosperity.

The citation was beautifully crafted and inscribed with golden lettering, symbolizing the company’s deep appreciation for Otumfuo’s support.

The citation acknowledged Otumfuo’s unwavering support and guidance, which has contributed significantly to the company’s growth and development, as well as his commitment to promoting traditional medicine, Ghanaian heritage, and cultural preservation.

Prof. Duncan praised Otumfuo’s visionary leadership and dedication to the well-being of the Ashanti people, saying, “Your Majesty’s visit to our factory was a great honor, and we are grateful for your continued support. Your leadership and wisdom have been a beacon of hope for our company and the entire nation.”

He also commended Otumfuo for his tireless efforts in promoting unity and development in the region, saying, “Your Majesty’s selfless dedication to the people of Ashanti is truly inspiring, and we are proud to be part of your vision.”

The visit reinforced the strong partnership between COA Research and the Manhyia Palace, cementing the company’s commitment to Ghana’s economic development, cultural preservation, and traditional practices.

Prof. Duncan also announced plans to expand the company’s operations in the Ashanti Region, creating more jobs and opportunities for the local community.

Otumfuo Osei Tutu II expressed his gratitude for the citation and praised COA Research for its commitment to quality and innovation.
